1. Introduction

EcomSwarm ("we", "us", "our") operates ecomswarm.com, an AI platform that helps merchants research products, build landing pages, generate ad creative, and deploy pages and products to commerce platforms such as Shopify. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email, hashed password, and organization details.
  • Content you create: product info, landing pages, brand assets, and AI-generated images and copy.
  • Shopify integration data: when you connect a Shopify store, we receive your store's myshopify.com domain and an OAuth access token (and refresh token) limited to the scopes you approve (write access to online-store content, products, and files). We use these only to publish pages/products you create. We do not access your shoppers' personal data or order data.
  • Usage data: log data, device/browser information, and product analytics.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the service (including publishing to your connected Shopify store on your instruction), authenticate you, improve the product, provide support, send service-related messages, and meet legal obligations.

4. Shopify data and deletion

We store your Shopify access and refresh tokens solely to perform actions you initiate. We honor Shopify's mandatory data-protection webhooks: on app uninstall or a shop-redaction request we delete that store's connection and tokens; we respond to customer data-request and customer-redaction webhooks (we do not store shopper personal data).

5. Third-party service providers (subprocessors)

We share data with providers who process it on our behalf: Shopify (store integration), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic and Google (AI content generation), and our payment processor. They are contractually required to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion; Shopify store data is deleted on uninstall or upon request.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us to exercise these. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards.

11. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy and will post the new "Last updated" date here.
